Among all the designs from PAMP Suisse, the Fortuna design is its most recognizable. In Roman mythology, Fortuna was viewed as the goddess of both fortune and fate. Her role as the goddess of fortune was tied to her status as the daughter of the king of the gods, Jupiter. Together, they were considered bringers of good fortune at harvest time.
On the obverse side of each bar you’ll find the image of Fortuna. Wearing a wreath crown and a cornucopia on her head, Fortuna is featured in left-profile relief with a blindfold over her eyes and her hands cupped at the bottom of the bar to catch the riches flowing from the horn of the cornucopia.
The reverse side of the 20 Gram PAMP Suisse Fortuna Platinum Bar bears engravings of the corporate logo for the refinery, the bars weight, purity, and metal content, and an assayers mark and serial number to verify its authenticity.
