Shipping Methods
On all West Hills Capital orders over $199, shipping and insurance is absolutely FREE. We only ship to addresses inside of the USA. West Hills Capital Once you add products to your cart and proceed to checkout, you will see that you will not be charged a penny for shipping or insurance on any order. We package your precious metals in a secure, discreet package and will use FedEx for all shipments unless otherwise noted. We utilize different FedEx services (2day, Ground, Overnight, etc.) based on value and/or weight. In most cases, we will ship silver via FedEx Ground. For gold and/or high value shipments we will use other FedEx services to minimize exposure/risk of package being in transit too long. Weight and value are two determining factors when choosing FedEx services and we always look to utilize the most economical way based on value/weight of shipment. In ANY event that you have special needs/requests regarding shipment status, we would use the FedEx service required to accommodate your need/request.
Shipment Packaging
When mailing precious metals, discretion and security are key factors. Your order is securely wrapped in protective packaging, placed in the shipping box along with packing materials to prevent the products from moving during shipping. Our labels, return address, and packaging do not give any indication of the contents of the package, so you can be confident that your packages will arrive safely.
Shipment Tracking
When you place an order at West Hills Capital, you will be provided with a tracking number to track your order until your products are delivered to your doorstep. As soon as your order ships, typically within one business day of cleared payment, you will receive an email notification with your tracking number.
You can then follow the delivery by inputting the tracking number into FedEx.com, unless otherwise instructed at your request for another carrier.
ALL shipments sent will require a signature upon receipt. No exceptions. If you cannot be available at your residence or office to receive it, we can set up delivery at a HOLD FOR PICKUP location convenient for pick up.
Shipping Insurance
To ensure complete customer confidence, every single package we ship is sent with shipping insurance. This means that in the unlikely case your package is damaged or lost, you will receive a full replacement of the products purchased at no additional cost. Please note that our insurance policies only extend to packages in transit — once the carrier obtains a signature or completes the delivery confirmation, our coverage discontinues. All shipments are insured 100% of replacement cost at the time of settlement. All shipments are insured 100% under our policy with Lloyds of London.
